Chapter 1

Once upon a time... there lived a king and a queen. They had a daughter that had hair as bright as the stars and face as white as the moon. Her name was Clementine... They lived a peaceful life, until one eventful day, Clementine had gone out into the fields to pick roses. Clementine came upon a blue rose. She didn't realize that there was a curse that had been cast upon the rose. Whomever picked a blue rose would be cursed and that curse would take her into a world filled with dreams. She would forever be stuck in a dream and her body would become an empty shell and nothing more. She plucked the rose only to discover that she wasn't in that field any longer. She drifted off to a place where there was darkness.

The silence was disturbing as she could only hear herself breathing. As she continued to walk forward, her footsteps echoed in the distance. "Hello... is anyone there?" She came to stop when she saw a bright light ahead of her. A slight breeze pulled her in without her realizing it. Is that the sound of the ocean? The light intensified and she could no longer see what was ahead of her except the dark door she had just walked out of.

"HEY! WAKE UP! THIS IS NO PLACE TO BE SLEEPING AT!" Someone tugged at Clementine's hair and all she could feel was the sand in her slippers and the waves crashing in. She quickly sat up and rubbed the sand out of her eyes. "uh... where am I?" "you're here, that's where!" Before she could reply, a gust of wind blew off Clementine's shall. She realized that the person that spoke to her was an old lady. The old lady had red hair with an enormous nose. Her teeth were crooked and she carried a cane with her. "Get out of my way!" She pushed Clementine away with her cane and began limping down the beach.

Clementine chased after her and yelled, "WAIT!" The old lady grimaced, "What is it, my dear?!" The only way she felt was a respectful way to ask for help was to speak in a steady calm voice. "I don't know where I am and I seem to be lost. Can you please tell me what this place is and how I can get out of here?" The old lady chuckled, "There's only one way to get out of dreamville and that is through a ship. This is no ordinary ship... You must ask for the prince's permission. He may be just a boy, but he is intelligent. He created these ships and discovered the different worlds within. This ship takes you through a different dimension. You must heed my word. It is very dangerous and whomever travels without a companion will most likely die."

Clementine was frightened by her words. "Do you know where the prince lives?" She pointed to a huge building that looked like an ice cream sundae. "That is where the prince lives and one more thing." She hesitated before telling me, "This place is called dreamville. Whatever you wish for will appear in front of you if you have the ability to control dreams. The dangerous part in it is that you may fall for its false charms. It may seem real, but it is nothing but dreams and desires. You must not fall into those tricks."

Clementine thanked the old lady and sat on shore to think about what the old lady had told her. As she dozed off, she witnessed a tail splash water at her. She was so shocked she fell on her back. When she looked back at the ocean, she saw a mermaid. Her hair was light pink and she had a beautiful tail that had silver scales. Her scales looked like jewelry and she was tempted to touch them. Before she could even reach into the ocean to grab a scale, the old lady pulled her out of the ocean.

"YOU MUST NOT TOUCH THOSE SCALES! You will be tranced into a curse that will turn you into nothing but a sea star. Be careful with the enchanted beings in dreamville. They are the most dangerous creatures." Clementine began to realize how much help she needed from the old lady. She had no option but to ask her, "Will you help me get across the worlds to my own world? I come from somewhere faraway. I'm from Blobaville." The old lady began laughing, "What sort of name is Blobaville? Sounds like a man named it that out of boredom." Clementine had not realized this until the old lady had told her so. "That is quite true!"

The old lady and Clementine decided to travel up the hills to the palace to speak with the prince. As Clementine passed through the village, she witnessed many different creatures with unique features. There was a man with one eyeball and a huge grin on his face. She also saw a women with hair that flew in every direction with a mole as huge as her hands located on her chin. There were children with heart shaped faces and children with green colored faces. Clementine was so astonished by these beings that she didn't realize that they were all whispering around her. She climbed up the first hill with the old lady. At first it didn't seem like much until she realized that the hill curved up many directions and there was no landscape around them that did not have a slope.

Clementine was shocked by how the old lady was so strong. She didn't have any difficulty climbing up the hill. In fact she was ahead of her by 5 feet. Clementine called after her, "WAIT. YOU ARE TOO FAST!" The old lady ignored her remark and kept climbing up the hill. As the reached the very top, the palace came to view. There was a bridge that looked like it was made of ginger bread. Clementine crossed the bridge and arrived at the entrance to the palace. There were guards surrounding the gate. The guards had colorful feathers all over there heads and they had a huge cube as their armor.

The guards spoke in unison, "What do you want from his majesty." Clementine stuttered, "I was wondering if we could speak to him about traveling to a different world." The guards replied, "NO one is allowed to ask that of his majesty." Clementine asked, "Why not?" The guards all looked at each other in confusion. "You are the first to ask that question." Clementine was confused by this reply. "What do you mean?" The guards answered, "Usually people would be too frightened to question the prince and so after they hear that they are not allowed, they would all stray away, but you are the only one that questioned the prince."

A loud voice came from the top of the ice cream like palace. "LET HER IN!" Without a word passing their lips, the gates opened and the guards moved aside. Clementine and the old lady strode passed the guards. The grand doors to the palace opened and all Clementine could see was the darkness ahead of her. This was going to be an adventure for her. Clementine could feel it in her bones. The life behind her had slipped away and she has finally began a new journey.

Chapter one is complete! Please move on the chapter two:)

Chapter 2

Meanwhile...

The palace of Blobaville was in shock. Princess Clementine had vanished and nothing but a blue rose lay behind in her room. The king and queen demanded for every soldier in the palace to search every speck of land for the princess. Whomever found the princess would be given the princess' hand in marriage. After several months of search, the king changed this reward for any man in the kingdom. Every single man began their search for princess Clementine; the poor ones, the rich ones, the spoiled ones and even the prisoners searched for the princess.

The king and queen soon suspected that Clementine had run off into an unknown land because of her strange behavior. She was known to have rebelled against her teachers for not being able to run freely through the village. She was a child that did not have the desire to be princess of Blobaville. As the days passed by, the king and queen grew weary of Clementine's sudden disappearance. The whole kingdom was lost in their grievances and their lack of knowledge of what had happened to Clementine. For many years they had not found any results to what had happened to her.

Now back to the main story:)

Clementine stepped through the large palace doors. Strange characters were carved into the walls of the palace. This was the first time she had witnessed anything so peculiar. The old lady advanced ahead towards the prince's headquarters. Clementine stealthily followed her like she was some kind of pet. The enormous doors gradually opened and the scent of roses filled the air. Although Clementine had entered the room, she could not see the prince. All she saw was a long hallway that led to another row of doors. She was beginning to lose track of time and she even forgot where she was.
